Russians, Germans and even the odd Englishman have long been fair game as bad guys in Hollywood, but don’t expect to see many Chinese villains. In the latest act of digital appeasement, the makers of Red Dawn – a remake of a cult 80s movie about a Russian attack on the United States repelled by teenagers – have replaced Chinese invaders with North Koreans.
